Stella 2 months

Isn't she so cute you just want to kiss her! Stella is sporting her fuzzy winter outfit and a precious little smile.

Almost a girly day

I was excited that Naomi wanted to wear a dress today! It wasn't any of the ones I picked out. Had to be the one with leopard flowers on it. That was fine she still looked cute in her white tights and dress. Then the first thing she asks is if she can go outside. And here she is. She said she is building a castle in the dirt. She said she will be very careful not to sit in the dirt. She found a bone that is beside her in picture two. She said "Mommy, it not a bone, it an "O". I have to agree with her. Anyway, she did come back in with very little dirt on her. She sure is growing up!

New Arrival

The waiting is over! Stella Joy entered the world at 11:11 pm on Monday night. She weighed a healthy 7.2 lbs and measure 19.75 inches. Long and slender. Right now little Stella and mommy are napping with an occasional snack break. We are looking forward to many future stories to share about our girls.

Here is my sweetie and I playing dress up.

Naomi finger painted with her parents as teachers lady. She loved it!

One of our favortie outings is the zoo. Naomi loves the sheep and goats. Pheewhuu! is what I think.

Summer, Summer

Wow! It takes a while for a 7 months pregnant women to get to the point of actually writing something here! First I had to find a comfy chair to use, which meant dragging one across the living room and scooting it as close to the computer as I could, because my keyboard cord is not very long, plus I can't read from very far away. Then I actually had to remember my account name and login, which meant searching through my email box for that info. (I should store that somewhere more helpful) Of course, I needed a snack while doing all that too. Plus, checking on my two year old to convince her to lie down in her bed and take a nap. ( I may have to go swimming at the "great big swimming pool" tonight) Anyway, I am here and she is sleeping! I think it took an hour! Well, here are some great summer photos. They remind me of how much fun it will be to have two babies around. Just ten weeks out from that now!....hmm how do I post pictures again?

Playing in this pool was a special treat, until we went to "the great big swimmin pool" at the YMCA!

Donuts and cereal after a morning bike ride with Mommy and Daddy. What could be better!

This is us on our vacation to San Diego to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!

Daddy, I thought it was my Barbie Jeep!

"I got his nose."

The 4th of July is so much fun as long as it doesn't get too loud!

Garden Dreams

So I am sitting here looking out my kitchen window. I should be working, but I'll get to that. Right? I am daydreaming about my yard. How I wish for a beautiful yard, but I just can't seem to get it by just daydreaming about it. Hmmm, I wish that were all it took and so do all the other nongardeners, I'm sure. The problem is I desire pretty flowers, cause those are my favorite, but I really don't like outdoor work, except to "work" on my tan. And I am to cheap or think I am to poor to spend any money to have someone do it for me. Our new neighbors are out mowing their bright green grass, for about the 3rd time this week I think, on their brand new oversized mower! Our grass is still a lot more brown than green. We don't even technically own our working lawn mower, ha ha ha. And every tool I seem to buy either dulls or stops charging or something to make them "not that great". The neighbors said they were thinking about putting up a privacy fence where our chain link fence is now. I don't blame them since that is where the past year and a half of leaves have piled, and I am not getting out there soon to vacuum them up! How I will miss gazing into there beautiful yard! I went to my sisters house this last week and saw pretty flowers blooming next to her front porch too! Just like a pretty little cottage. Then I came home and saw my sparse front garden with a few green things poking up around all the dirt. Naomi pointed out that there are ants crawling all over it too! Gross! Not quite a cottage or what I daydream about! My husband really does try. He plants all the plants that I buy, but not watering or watering too much or something seems to keep them small or nonexsiting.
Our goal is this summer is to put in drip irrigation, so all I have to do is turn the knob. I think I can handle that. If not, I'll teach Naomi! Maybe that will make my garden dreams come true.

Dora Party

I had a great time at my birthday party. Aunt Resa made me some great Dora birthday cakes and I got Dora and star balloons too!

Please don't sing the Happy Birthday song, it just makes me upset every time I hear it.

Blowing out the candles was fun.

Here I am with one of my cakes and my balloons. I love Dora!

Flamingos!

Is that a real pink flamingo? You might think so, but it is really Naomi pretending to be one. This was in crown center on our last trip to KC. The kids had such a great time playing there.

Princesses!

Here is Naomi in the form of a princess. She and her cousin Elena are dancing to Ms Patty Cake songs while wearing their princess crowns.

Wahoo!

I think I have figured this out. Hopefully this will help all us onliners keep updated. Not sure what to post yet, but I am sure I will think of things. Like cute Naomi happenings and such. Thanks for visiting!
